Parosh

Parosh is a person in Nehemiah, named as Pedaiah’s father and listed among “the heads of the people” (Nehemiah 3:25; Nehemiah 10:14). The passage says that Pedaiah son of Parosh strengthened a section after Palal’s work (Nehemiah 3:25). Nehemiah also records a numbered group called “the sons of Parosh” (Nehemiah 7:8). Parosh is named in at least 3 verses, all in Nehemiah (Nehemiah 3:25; Nehemiah 7:8; Nehemiah 10:14).
