Nahor

Nahor in the Bible is the person first named in Joshua 24:2 as one of Terah’s sons. In Joshua’s address to all the people, the LORD is quoted as referring to a time when their fathers lived “beyond the River” Joshua 24:2. The passage identifies Terah as the father of both Abraham and Nahor and states that “they served other gods” Joshua 24:2. Nahor’s name occurs in at least one verse, all within Joshua Joshua 24:2.
