Jozadak

Jozadak in the Bible is identified in Ezra as the father of Jeshua, who is named among the priests. Ezra 3:2 says that Jeshua and his brothers the priests built the altar of the God of Israel for burnt offerings. In Ezra 3:8, Jeshua is included among those who appointed Levites to conduct work on the house of the LORD. Ezra 5:2 names Jeshua as beginning to build God’s house in Jerusalem with Zerubbabel. Jozadak is named in at least 4 verses in Ezra.
