Hodiah

Hodiah is a biblical person first named at 1 Chronicles 4:19 and named in at least six verses across 1 Chronicles and Nehemiah. In Nehemiah, Hodiah is included among the Levites who helped the people understand the law while they remained in their places (Nehemiah 8:7). Hodiah is also named among Levites who called on the people to bless the LORD their God and bless his glorious name (Nehemiah 9:5). The name occurs again in lists at Nehemiah 10:10, Nehemiah 10:13, and Nehemiah 10:18.
