Hobab

Hobab is a biblical person identified as the son of Reuel, a Midianite, and a relative of Moses; Judges also calls him Moses’ father-in-law Numbers 10:29 Judges 4:11. Moses addresses Hobab while setting out toward the place the LORD promised to give Israel and invites him to come with them Numbers 10:29. Hobab is named in at least 2 verses across Numbers and Judges. Judges describes Heber the Kenite as separated from the Kenites, from the sons of Hobab Judges 4:11.
