Bunni is named in Nehemiah among a group that cried aloud to the LORD, and as the father of Hashabiah.
Bunni is a person named in Nehemiah, first listed among those who rose on the ascent of the Levites and cried aloud to the LORD their God (Nehemiah 9:4). His name also occurs in a list at Nehemiah 10:15. A later Levite genealogy identifies Hashabiah as Bunni’s son (Nehemiah 11:15). Bunni is named in at least three verses, all in Nehemiah.
