In 1 Chronicles 15:21, the feminine singular absolute form occurs in the instruction that Mattithiah and others were to play lyres “according to the Sheminith,” in the APB’s rendering. The same singular form occurs in Psalm 12:1 and Psalm 6:1, but the APB renders the prayers without showing a corresponding expression for the term.
In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB explicitly retains “Sheminith” in 1 Chronicles 15:21 within the lyre-playing instruction. In Psalm 12:1 and Psalm 6:1, it renders the prayer text without an identifiable counterpart for the term.
