   In Job 28:2 the Qal imperfect form occurs in the clause where stone yields bronze, and in Job 29:6 it occurs where rock yields streams of oil. Isaiah 26:16 uses the Qal perfect plural form for distressed people who pour out a whisper; the APB renders these clauses with “pours out” and “poured out.”
