sunoida denotes awareness of a matter, whether regarding oneself or another person's knowledge.

The two verses show awareness or knowledge concerning a specific matter: in 1 Corinthians 4:4 it concerns nothing held against oneself, and in Acts 5:2 it concerns the wife's awareness of what was kept back.

   In 1 Corinthians 4:4, the first-person perfect active indicative occurs in the claim that nothing is known against the speaker; the APB renders the clause, "For I am conscious of nothing against myself." In Acts 5:2, the perfect active genitive feminine participle describes the wife in connection with the proceeds kept back; the APB renders her as "also being conscious of it."
