A report spreading outward · dominant
In Luke 4:14, the nominative singular feminine form occurs in the clause in which news goes out throughout the region about Jesus; the APB renders this, “news went out according to all the region about him.” In Matthew 9:26, the same form occurs where a report goes out into all the land; the APB renders, “this report went out into all that land.”
In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB presents the outward-spreading item as “news” in Luke 4:14 and “this report” in Matthew 9:26. These are whole-verse translation renderings rather than definitions.
