   The dative singular form appears with arousing others: in 2 Peter 1:13 the APB renders the clause "to arouse you in remembrance," and in 2 Peter 3:1 it renders "I arouse your pure mind by way of remembrance." The accusative singular form in 2 Timothy 1:5 occurs where the speaker brings Timothy's sincere faith to mind; the APB renders, "I am reminded of the sincere faith that is in you."

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB presents the two Petrine clauses with "remembrance" and presents 2 Timothy 1:5 as "I am reminded." These renderings confirm the verses' recall-related setting without fixing a separate English equivalent in each clause.
