Hosakis marks each occasion on which an action is done or a desire is acted upon.

As a conjunction, hosakis introduces the occasions or instances connected with an action: drinking in 1 Corinthians 11:25, eating and drinking in 1 Corinthians 11:26, and the desired striking of the earth in Revelation 11:6.

   The form is tagged as a conjunction in all three verses. In 1 Corinthians 11:25 the APB renders the drinking clause "as often as you drink it," and in 1 Corinthians 11:26 it renders the eating-and-drinking clause "as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup." In Revelation 11:6, the APB renders the clause "whenever they desire" in connection with striking the earth with every plague.
