In Revelation 18:2, the genitive singular occurs in the clause the APB renders “a prison of every unclean bird.” In Revelation 19:17, the dative plural is addressed among those flying in midair, while in Revelation 19:21 the nominative plural are the creatures the APB renders as being filled from the slain.
In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB presents the term as “bird” in Revelation 18:2 and “birds” in Revelation 19:17 and Revelation 19:21. These English expressions occur in a translation.
