In 2 Corinthians 4:6 the supplied forms occur in the declaration that light will shine out of darkness and has shone in hearts.

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB commonly presents the clauses with “shine,” “shone,” or “shines”; for the lamp scene in Matthew 5:15 it says that the lamp “gives light.” These renderings describe the clauses rather than fixing a separate English equivalent for each form.
