In Romans 6:4 the APB renders the clause “walk in newness of life” after burial with Christ and his raising from the dead; in Romans 7:6 it renders service “in the newness of the spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.”

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB uses “newness” in both verses, once with “life” and once with “the spirit.” Those phrases show the clauses' presentation rather than a separate definition for each occurrence.
