Josiah
Iosias identifies the person named within Matthew’s sequence of begetting generations.
The two occurrences identify the same person within a sequence of begetting generations: as the object after Amos in Matthew 1:10 and as the subject who begot Jechoniah and his brothers in Matthew 1:11.

Personal name in a genealogical sequence · dominant
In Matthew 1:10, the accusative singular masculine form occurs as the person begotten by Amos; the APB renders the clause “Amos then begot Josiah.” In Matthew 1:11, the nominative singular masculine form names the person who begot Jechoniah and his brothers; the APB renders “Josiah then begot Jechoniah and his brothers upon the deportation of Babylon.”
In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB presents the name as “Josiah” in both genealogical clauses, first as the person begotten and then as the begetting subject. The verse is read as a whole, but both verses place the term in the stated succession.
