   In Acts 3:15 the accusative singular masculine form occurs in the clause about the one killed and then raised from the dead; the APB renders the clause "the founder of life." In Hebrews 2:10 it stands in the statement about bringing many sons to glory through sufferings, and in Hebrews 12:2 it appears in the call to look to Jesus; the APB renders these clauses with "the founder of their salvation" and "the founder and finisher of the faith."

2. Exalted leader granting repentance and forgiveness · rare

   In Acts 5:31 the accusative singular masculine form is part of the statement that God exalted Jesus to his right hand, followed by the purpose of granting repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. The APB renders the designation there as "Leader and Savior,".

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB uses "founder" in the clauses concerning life, salvation, and faith, but uses "Leader" in Acts 5:31. Because the APB is a whole-verse translation, this variation does not by itself establish separate lexical meanings.
