Allelouia is a particle voiced in heaven’s acclamations of God’s salvation, worship, and reign.

As a particle, Ἁλληλουϊά marks repeated heavenly acclamations: a multitude voices it in connection with God’s salvation and power, worshipers say it with “Amen,” and a great voice says it because God reigns.

   The form Ἁλληλουϊά is tagged as a Particle in each occurrence and is voiced by heavenly speakers. In Revelation 19:1 the APB renders a great multitude saying “Hallelujah!” before speaking of God’s salvation, glory, and power; in Revelation 19:4 worshipers say “Amen, Hallelujah!”; and in Revelation 19:6 a great voice says it in the clause announcing that the Lord God Almighty reigns. Revelation 19:3 places the same acclamation before the statement that her smoke rises into the ages of the ages.

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB presents Ἁλληλουϊά as “Hallelujah!” in all four verses, as a spoken acclamation within larger heavenly declarations. The surrounding statements identify the verse context rather than supplying a separate lexical rendering.
