In 1 Corinthians 15:53 and 1 Corinthians 15:54, the accusative singular feminine form occurs in the clause where “this mortal” must or does put it on; the APB renders the clause with “immortality” and then speaks of death being swallowed up. In 1 Timothy 6:16, the same form occurs in the statement that he alone possesses it, alongside dwelling in unapproachable light.
