Five passages use “the last days” in statements about the Spirit, harsh times, a Son, stored treasure, and mockers.
The Bible says that, in the last days, God will pour out from his Spirit upon all flesh; sons and daughters will prophesy, young men will see visions, and elders will dream dreams (Acts 2:17). Another passage says harsh times will be present (2 Timothy 3:1). Hebrews says God has spoken “in a Son” in these last days (Hebrews 1:2). James addresses treasure stored up in the last days (James 5:3). 2 Peter says mockers will come in the last days (2 Peter 3:3).
