Scripture forbids unjust measures and calls for full, just weights and measures.
The Bible says that judgment in measure, weight, and capacity must not be unjust. Leviticus 19:35 prohibits unjust judgment in these matters, and Leviticus 19:36 calls for righteous balances, stones, an ephah, and a hin. Deuteronomy 25:15 commands a full and just weight and measure; that verse connects this command with long days in the land the LORD God is giving.
