The passages collected under Economic Justice include Isaiah 1:17, which says to seek justice, bless the oppressed, judge the orphan, and contend for the widow. Jeremiah 22:3 commands justice and righteousness, rescue for the plundered, and restraint from oppressing or injuring the sojourner, orphan, and widow.
