Sardis

In the Bible, Sardis is a city named in Revelation, where a scroll is directed to Sardis Revelation 1:11. Sardis occurs in at least 3 verses across 1 book. The message addressed to the angel of the assembly in Sardis says, “I know your works,” and says it has a name of being alive while dead Revelation 3:1. It also speaks of a few in Sardis whose garments have not been defiled and who will walk in white Revelation 3:4.
