Zuriel is named as the leader of Merari’s families in Numbers.
Zuriel in the Bible is the leader of the fathers’ house for the families of Merari, named in Numbers 3:35. The verse identifies him as the son of Abihail and states that the Merarite families were to encamp on the north side of the tabernacle. Zuriel is named in at least one verse, all within the book of Numbers.
