Zeruah

Zeruah is the mother of Jeroboam son of Nebat, first named in 1 Kings 11:26. The verse identifies Jeroboam as an Ephraimite from Zeredah and states that his mother was Zeruah. It also describes her as a widow and a servant of Solomon. Zeruah’s name occurs in at least one verse, all within 1 Kings, where she is identified through this maternal connection to Jeroboam (1 Kings 11:26).
