Uzai is identified as Palal’s father in Nehemiah 3:25.
Uzai in the Bible is the father of Palal, named in Nehemiah’s account of work on a section near the angle and a projecting tower by the king’s upper house and court of the guard (Nehemiah 3:25). The passage says that Palal son of Uzai strengthened that section, while Pedaiah son of Parosh strengthened the next one. Uzai is named in at least one verse, in Nehemiah alone (Nehemiah 3:25).
