Tubal

Tubal in the Bible is a Genesis genealogical ancestor named among the sons of Japheth in Genesis 10:2. That verse lists Tubal with Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Meshech, and Tiras as Japheth’s sons. The name is recorded in at least two verses across Genesis, from Genesis 4:22 to Genesis 10:2. In Genesis 4:22, the text also names Tubal-cain, describing him as a forger of bronze and iron tools and naming Naamah as his sister.
