Tola is a judge in Judges, identified as Puah’s son and as a man of Issachar.
Tola in the Bible is the Judges judge first named at Judges 10:1, where he is said to arise to save Israel after Abimelech. The passage identifies him as Puah’s son and names Dodo in his lineage; it also calls him a man of Issachar. It says that he was dwelling in Shamir in the mount of Ephraim. Tola is named in at least one verse, in Judges alone (Judges 10:1).
