Timothy's Father

Timothy’s father in the Bible is identified in Acts as a Greek and as the father of Timothy, a disciple. Acts describes Timothy as the son of a faithful Jewish woman whose father was a Greek Acts 16:1. The account repeats that people in those places knew Timothy’s father was a Greek when Paul took Timothy with him Acts 16:3. This father is mentioned in at least 2 verses, both in Acts.
