Shomer

Shomer in the Bible is the father of Jehozabad, named in the account of a killing in 2 Kings 12:21. The verse identifies “Jehozabad son of Shomer” alongside Jozacar son of Shimeath; it says that these servants struck a man, who died, was buried with his fathers in the city of David, and was succeeded by Amaziah. Shomer is named in at least 1 verse, all within 2 Kings.
