Shimeath is a person in 2 Kings identified as the father of Jozacar. Scripture names Shimeath in at least one verse, all within 2 Kings: 2 Kings 12:21. In that verse, Jozacar son of Shimeath and Jehozabad son of Shomer are called servants; the passage says that they struck him and he died.
