Sherebiah in the Bible is a Levite first named in Nehemiah 8:7, where he is among those who helped the people understand the law. He is named in at least 6 verses, all in Nehemiah.
In Nehemiah 9:4, Sherebiah is among Levites who cried out loudly to the LORD; Nehemiah 9:5 includes him among those calling for blessing of the LORD. He is also listed among the Levites connected with praises in Nehemiah 12:8. Later, Nehemiah 12:24 names Sherebiah among the heads of the Levites, with brothers positioned to praise and give thanks.
