Nehemiah son of Azbuk is the ruler of half the district of Beth-zur who strengthened the wall in Nehemiah 3:16. Scripture names him in at least one verse, all in Nehemiah. The passage identifies him as Azbuk’s son and says his work extended opposite the tombs of David, to the artificial pool, and to the house of the mighty men.
