Ishmael's firstborn, identified in Genesis as the brother of Mahalath and Basemath.
Nebaioth is Ishmael’s firstborn, as Genesis identifies him in Genesis 25:13.
Genesis also calls Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael and Nebaioth’s sister when Esau takes her as wife (Genesis 28:9). A later verse names Basemath as Ishmael’s daughter and Nebaioth’s sister (Genesis 36:3). Nebaioth is named in at least three verses, all in Genesis. All three recorded occurrences belong to the book of Genesis.
