Koz

Koz in the Bible is a Nehemiah person identified as the father of Uriah; Meremoth is named as Uriah’s son and strengthened a section alongside others Nehemiah 3:4. A second passage again calls Meremoth “son of Uriah son of Koz” while describing his work from the entrance to the house of Eliashib to its end Nehemiah 3:21. Nehemiah also lists the sons of Koz among the priests Nehemiah 7:63.
