Jehosheba hides Joash and his nurse, preserving him from death.
Jehosheba is the daughter of King Joram and sister of Ahaziah who rescued Joash, Ahaziah’s son, from those about to put the king’s sons to death. In 2 Kings 11:2, she takes Joash away, hides him with his nurse in a bedchamber, and keeps him from Athaliah so that he is not put to death. Jehosheba is named in at least 1 verse, all within 2 Kings.
