Jalam is a Genesis person identified as a son of Esau and Oholibamah. He is first named with Jeush and Korah among those born to Esau in the land of Canaan (Genesis 36:5). Genesis repeats that Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam, and Korah to Esau (Genesis 36:14). In a later list, the passage calls him “chief Jalam” and includes him among the chiefs of Oholibamah (Genesis 36:18).
