Jair

Jair in the Bible is identified as the son of Manasseh, who captured villages and called them Havvoth-jair Numbers 32:41. Deuteronomy states that he took the region of Argob as far as the Geshurite and Maacathite border and called it Bashan Havvoth-jair after his name Deuteronomy 3:14. Joshua refers to the villages of Jair in Bashan within a stated boundary Joshua 13:30.
