Imlah

Imlah is the father of Micaiah, the man whom the king of Israel identifies as one through whom the LORD may be sought. In the cited account, Micaiah is called “son of Imlah”; the king says he hates Micaiah because his prophecies are not good concerning him, and Jehoshaphat objects to that statement 1 Kings 22:8. In 2 Chronicles, Micaiah is again named as Imlah’s son, and an order is given to hasten him 2 Chronicles 18:7 2 Chronicles 18:8. Imlah is named in at least 3 verses across 2 books.
