Hoshaiah

Hoshaiah is a person in Jeremiah identified as the father of Jezaniah and Azariah. Jeremiah 42:1 names Jezaniah son of Hoshaiah in a group that included commanders, Johanan, and people from small to great. Jeremiah 43:2 names Azariah son of Hoshaiah alongside Johanan and others who spoke to Jeremiah. Hoshaiah is named in at least two verses, both in Jeremiah. The verses identify him through these sons without further description.
