Horam, king of Gezer, came to help Lachish and was defeated by Joshua.
Horam is the king of Gezer named when he came to help Lachish and was struck by Joshua. Scripture names him in at least one verse, in Joshua. Joshua 10:33 says that Joshua struck Horam and his people until Horam had no survivor. The passage identifies the encounter as a defeat by Joshua and records no other occurrence of Horam’s name.
