Haggith

Haggith is a biblical person identified in Scripture as the mother of Adonijah. A list of sons names Adonijah as the fourth son and names Haggith as his mother (2 Samuel 3:4). She is named in at least four verses across 2 Samuel and 1 Kings. In later passages, Adonijah is called “son of Haggith” as he declares, “I will be king,” and as he comes to Bathsheba (1 Kings 1:5; 1 Kings 2:13).
