Darius in the Bible is the Haggai person first named at Haggai 1:1. That verse says that the word of the LORD came by Haggai in “the second year of King Darius.” Haggai 1:15 likewise refers to the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month in that second year. Haggai 2:10 again places a word to Haggai on the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month in the second year of Darius.
