Crispus is named as a synagogue ruler in Acts and among those Paul says he baptized.

Crispus in the Bible is identified as the ruler of the synagogue at Acts 18:8. The passage says that he believed in the Lord together with all his household; it separately says that many Corinthians who heard believed and were baptized. In 1 Corinthians 1:14, Paul says that he baptized Crispus and Gaius. Crispus is named in at least two verses across Acts and 1 Corinthians.
