Bildad the Shuhite is named among Job's friends and speaks in the book of Job.
Bildad is one of Job’s three friends, identified as Bildad the Shuhite, who came with Eliphaz and Zophar to mourn with Job and comfort him after hearing of his distress Job 2:11. He is named in at least five verses in the book of Job. The text introduces him as answering in Job 8:1, Job 18:1, and Job 25:1. In Job 42:9, Bildad, Eliphaz, and Zophar do as the LORD had spoken to them, and the LORD accepts Job.
