Bani the Levite

Bani the Levite in the Bible is a Levite named among those who helped the people understand the law while they remained in their places (Nehemiah 8:7). He is also named among Levites who cried out with a loud voice to the LORD their God (Nehemiah 9:4). In the following verse, Bani is included among Levites who call for blessing the LORD, whose name is described as exalted above blessing and praise (Nehemiah 9:5).

Bani is named in at least four verses, all in Nehemiah; the name also occurs in a list at Nehemiah 10:13.
