Baanah

Baanah in the Bible is the father of Heleb, named in a list that identifies “Heleb son of Baanah the Netophathite” (2 Samuel 23:29). This Baanah is the 2 Samuel person first named in that verse and should not be conflated with other people who share the name. His name occurs in at least one verse, all within 2 Samuel. The text supplies no further description of him beyond his relationship to Heleb (2 Samuel 23:29).
