Baal-hanan son of Achbor is the 1 Chronicles figure identified as Achbor’s son and named after Saul’s death as taking Saul’s place (1 Chronicles 1:49). He is named in at least two verses, both in 1 Chronicles. The following verse states that Baal-hanan died and that Hadad took his place; it also names Hadad’s city and wife (1 Chronicles 1:50).
