Amalek is a Genesis person identified as the son born to Eliphaz by Timna. Genesis 36:12 names Timna as Eliphaz’s concubine and states that she bore Amalek to him.
Amalek is named in at least two verses, both in Genesis. Genesis 36:16 lists “chief Amalek” among the chiefs of Eliphaz in the land of Edom, describing those chiefs as sons of Adah.
