Ahisamach

Ahisamach is the Exodus person identified as the father of Oholiab, who is named as his son in the tribe of Dan (Exodus 31:6). Ahisamach is named in at least three verses, all in Exodus. The passages identify Oholiab as Ahisamach’s son while describing Oholiab in connection with those given wisdom for commanded work (Exodus 31:6). Another verse says that teaching was put in the hearts of Oholiab and another person (Exodus 35:34). Oholiab is later called an artificer, designer, and weaver (Exodus 38:23).
